Lula - obsessed.
So I heard about these leggings that I HAD to try. They said they were SO SOFT. They said they were SO COMFY. I was skeptical. I had some really solid black Zella leggings from Nordstrom that I absolutely loved - still love, actually. I could not really understand how I could come to love more than one type of legging.
I was wrong.
I started out with one pair. They are SO SOFT. They are SO COMFY. They are also cozy enough to wear when I'm searching for a big pair of giant sweats. You know those days.
I ordered another. I ordered my sister a pair. I ordered her another. Then I hosted a party.
Leggings were my gateway drug.
This is my LLR hookup. She is awesome and she ships anywhere. My husband refers to her as my dealer. Fair enough.
Of course I had to get these super cute matching "Mommy and Me" leggings. Turquoise and pink are my favorite colors together!
I was too chicken to try anything else without trying it on. I was fairly confident that the "OS" (one size) leggings would fit me but I always like to try something on at least once before I take the plunge.
Well, at the party I hosted I went a little crazy. I mean, I tried on so many things and they were SO CUTE. The thing about LLR is that the patterns come and go and you can't just pick something off of a website. First, you have to get a dealer. Next, you have to stalk your dealer until you find something that you like. Dealers are not always open and usually sell through Facebook so this is a bit of a challenge. I never met a shopping challenge I didn't like. (Heck, if I can order appliances on Amazon - and I do - I can buy a few leggings on Facebook.)
This dress, the "Amelia" cut dress, is my favorite. It looks nice enough to wear to work. It is comfortable. Best of all, it has POCKETS. Ladies, we go nuts for pockets. We are frequently deprived of quality pockets in our clothing.
This skirt is a "Cassie" skirt. I have this cut in several colors - mostly solid colors. I really like it for work. I just throw on a top and it's basically the most comfortable pencil skirt I have ever owned.
The teal and pink "Amelia" dress is by far my favorite LLR piece. First of all, I love pink and teal. I love them together, I love them apart, I love them on a fox or in a box. Second, the pockets. Finally, this pattern reminds me a little of the 1980's. I am an 80's kid so I will always have a soft spot for weird unitards that cut too high with tiny belts and leg warmers. This pattern somehow reminds me of that. Don't ask me why but it makes me love it even more.
I love it so much that I wear it with heels to work (see above) and with sneakers with my kids. It was a great purchase.
I slowed down my LLR consumption for a little while to divert funds back into my house projects, but recently I got these leggings for M and I. I just could not help it. So cute, right?
If you must have LLR as I must, check out Stephanie's page. She will ship anywhere!
